The study, titled “Women Investment Behaviour Report 2024,” analyzed data from over one crore existing customers and revealed that nearly 72 percent of women investors now make their own investment decisions. This trend is even stronger among younger generations, with 75 percent of women aged  twenty-five to th irty-four and 70 percent aged thirty-five to forty-four leading the charge in taking control of their financial destinie.

The data shows that women invest higher amounts on average, with a 25 percent increase per woman investor and a 37 percent higher corpus compared to men.

More women are embracing modern investment avenues such as mutual funds, stocks, and even startups. In contrast, women in B30 cities (beyond the top thirty) still show a preference for traditional investments like fixed deposits and gold, alongside mutual funds.
